Muddifords Court Country House Devon – the perfect location for a Devon Country wedding.

Since 2011 we have become a well-established wedding venue located in the heart of the Mid Devon Countryside. Muddifords Court offers the complete package of either a 3-day Mid-Week (Tuesday- Thursday) or Weekend (Friday – Sunday) totally exclusive wedding hire with accommodation.

As you pull into the sweeping driveway, the Georgian elegance of Muddifords Court Country House comes into view. Muddifords is an elegant Devon wedding venue that will leave both you and your guests with the best memories of your special day.

The Cider Barn provides an intimate setting to say your wedding vows with space for 120 guests. The original features have been lovingly restored and reveal a wealth of character, including the original cider press and an apple loft, providing a spectacular mezzanine level. This second level can be used as a stage for a musical feature.

The main reception Barn, The Shippen, welcomes you and gives your guests a chance to enjoy our wonderful wedding breakfast, seating up to 125 guests with the space to host 200+ people for your evening reception. The multifunctional barn combines its majestic original oak beams with a fully interactive multimedia system, including a concealed drop down cinema screen, projector with hidden speakers for surround sound plus a PA system with wireless microphones. There is a satellite kitchen for your chosen caterer to use and a further marquee. This barn is also licensed for civil ceremonies.

With 14 acres of grounds, complete with our quirky outdoor bar called ‘The Duck Inn’, alfresco decking and cobbled courtyard by the main bar ‘The Nip Inn’, this space makes the perfect setting for guests to socialise and celebrate your day whilst set in the rustic charm of our Victorian outbuildings.
