Book a Wedding or Civil Ceremony
This is one of the most important days of your life - let us help you create a day with memories that will stay with you forever. Take in the relaxing atmosphere of this beautiful listed building with many of its period features. Make your entrance up the sweeping drive in a vintage car, limousine or even a horse-drawn carriage. After the ceremony has taken place you and your guests can enjoy a celebration drink either in the Great Hall or in the beautiful grounds surrounding the house.
 
The main part of Old Forde House is licensed as an approved venue, giving exclusive use to you and your guests. There are four rooms available in which to hold your wedding ceremony, each one with different features to offer and decorated with cream flowers. If feeling adventurous, get married in the porch whilst your guests sit/stand in the open air.  There are detailed descriptions below for each of the rooms. Please note there is no lift in Old Forde House and access to the first floor is via a staircase. 

If you wish to supply a small, cold buffet we can provide plates/cups/saucers, but there is an extra charge for this facility which can be discussed with the co-ordinator.

You are welcome to bring in champagne/wine if you wish to share a drink with your guests after the ceremony.  Glasses are provided and drinks poured for you.
