My name is Paul and I’m a professional wedding photographer based in South London and I capture natural, fun wedding photographs in and around London and throughout the UK. I have an informal and relaxed style capturing everything from the excited giggles in the morning to those wicked dance moves in the evening.
My Approach
With nearly 200 weddings to my name, I will bring all that experience to your wedding. I know where to be at the right time, when to stay in the background, (even at 6’2” I can remain invisible) and when to step forward to capture those special moments. I know how to help everyone feel comfortable and to capture the day in an unobtrusive way.

Originally from The New Forest, I now live in Wimbledon and love going for long walks with my dog on the common or Morden Hall Park and of course, when I can to The New Forest. While working as a freelance photographer, I also worked as a manager in the hospitality industry which gives me an insight into what else could be going on during your special day. I gained much of my photography experience whilst working for The World Religious Photo Library, https://paulgapper.com/reportage/ where I had to research my subject matter in great depth, which often led to forging significant personal contacts in diverse religious and secular communities. With over 15 years as a wedding, travel and documentary photographer you can expect someone who is an expert, knowledgeable, someone who cares, gets on well with people, integrates with your guests and gets on well with your parents!
