About Pedro Portela Photography

Pedro is a wedding photographer based in Addlestone, Surrey. He is originally from Portugal, where he started out as a photographer back in 2011.

He began his working life stuck in an office doing Law. After 7+ years in the banking industry he decided to embrace his dream and became a full time wedding photographer.

His experience in photography is not limited to weddings. He also does some commercial work with photography and video as well to commercial companies.

He likes to work with likeminded people; those couples who appreciate a documentary, cinematic approach to wedding photography; gathering moments and emotions as they go.

The same principles are applied in the album design.

Before each wedding, Pedro sits with their couples and learns what details or people are really important for them; this way, he ensures he includes these shots in your wedding memories.

As said by Pedro himself, he gets inspiration from simple things around him: beautiful sunlight, a rustic wooden fence, a wool jumper, handmade bread and cakes, rich, black coffee, textures, among others.
