Welcome to Robert Denholm House, an exclusive Wedding Venue situated in Nutfield, Surrey, a mere 10-minute drive from the M25, with fantastic public transportation links.  The large country house is surrounded by idyllic countryside, offering fantastic views, a relaxed atmosphere and the ultimate spot for your photos.

The late Victorian mansion has been renovated to a high standard, retaining its charming original features such as the grand staircase and exquisite stained glass windows by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. 

As we are independently owned, we are able to offer more freedom and flexibility to our couples.  You can tailor and shape your day to make your dream wedding become a reality.  From funfairs to fireworks, you can add those special touches to make your day unforgettable.

Exchange your vows in one of our three elegant licensed rooms.

The Capenor Room is the original reception room of the house. This beautiful room features magnificent crystal chandeliers and is the perfect spot to say your vows.  Licensed for up to 112 seated guests.

Alternatively, you may prefer the period features of the Belvedere Room which can accommodate up to 75 guests.

For an intimate ceremony, choose the Redwood Room which is licensed for 39 guests.

Our internal layout is extremely flexible.  A popular reception choice is to have the three function rooms open with the Grand Galleried Hall and our well stocked, fully licensed bar area used as a central location.  The House is suitable for informal dining receptions with approximately 200 guests.

From a traditional wedding breakfast, buffet or barbecue to a trending food choice including a vintage high tea or selection of street foods you will literally be able to have your cake and eat it.   If you would prefer to bring your own caterers, insurance, company and event documentation must be provided in advance for our approval.

A marquee does not merely provide cover, it’s a rare opportunity for you to design your own venue.  Literally from a blank canvas, you can create a bespoke space with the stunning architecture of Robert Denholm House as the perfect backdrop.  Our grounds are licensed for up to 4,500 guests. 

To allow for different weather scenarios we are willing to have two alternative plans as long as the final choice is made by the Friday morning prior to the event.

Complimentary car parking, wedding buses, coaches and even helicopters welcome!  Excellent local accommodation and pre-book taxi service available.
