Saint Nicolas Place in Birmingham is famously “the largest complex of medieval buildings in Birmingham” and includes a Tudor Merchant’s House, Old Grammar School, and Church. All have survived in splendid condition since the 15th century, and so this historic wedding venue is growing as one of the Midland’s tourist attractions.

Saint Nicolas Place offers seven rooms for hire for weddings and other special occasions—five restored, timber-framed Tudor rooms (including the Queen’s Room, which boasts an original Tudor fireplace and remains of original décor, and the Gable Room, which features an original and newly exposed Tudor gable). Saint Nicolas Place also offers two halls, including the North Hall, which with its wooden beams and windows is one of the most stunning backdrops and is even more beautiful with its views over Saint Nicolas’ churchyard. The variety of large and small function rooms make for a versatile wedding venue ideal for larger and more intimate celebrations.
