Swinton Park, Ripon, surrounded by 200 acres of parkland in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, this secluded, luxury hotel wedding venue and grounds enjoy a spectacular setting. The grandeur of a historic building is complemented by a friendly and professional events team who provide a seamless level of service together with a total commitment to ensure that your wedding day exceeds every expectation.

They are happy to host weddings both opulent and intimate. They have a range of options for smaller events, including a private island on one of the lakes in the Parkland, complete with Georgian summerhouse – perfect for an intimate dinner. The island is also ideally suited to an alfresco picnic or barbecue, in total privacy, surrounded by woodland and birdsong

Weddings at Swinton Bivouac

Swinton Bivouac is a unique glamping destination set on the edge of the moorland Yorkshire Dales. Just a few miles from Swinton Park, there are Meadow Yurts and hand-built Treelodges along with a Bunk Barn, sleeping up to 86 guests in total. The rustic café/bistro serves wholesome food for parties and celebrations. Nearby in the woodlands is the Druid’s Temple, a magical setting for a ceremony. Large stones make up an altar, with an awning, hay bale seating and wild flowers on shepherd hooks to set the scene. This ceremony location is available to both Swinton Park and Swinton Bivouac guests.

Children are charged at half price of the chosen package  (Children’s Set Menu or half portion)  Infants under 2 years will not be charged if not seated at the table.

Based on a minimum of 20 guests. All menus included are a set menu, with a vegetarian and child option available*. Please note that the wedding package is charged in addition to the exclusive use fee or room hire charges.
