About Taplins Place
Taplins Place Wedding Venue is situated in the grounds of a 350-year-old farmhouse. The same plot of land has been on the rgisters since the Domesday Survey of 1086 when it was part of the great Royal Manor of Odiham. The land changed hands many times before the farmhouse was finally built in the late 1600's and for centuries was the home of hard working local farmers. The Willis family have owned it for the last twenty years and have lovingly restored it to it past glory, completely renovating the house, revealing all the charm of its original oak frame construction and reclaiming the wild farmland surrounding it that had fallen into disrepair in the years prior.
