This grand London wedding venue offers the perfect marriage of old and new sophistication with some of the most exquisite styling in all of London. Offering an impressive selection of function rooms from the George V and Queen Mary halls, these are stately ballrooms featuring amazing high ceilings with shimmering Waterford Crystal chandeliers.
The George V Hall has the capacity to seat over 300 and offers an unusually large space on the ground floor, with its high windows flooding the room with natural light. There is direct access to the hotel’s Dalloway Terrace and to the street.
The Queen Mary Hall, with its beautiful original features, has high celings, with crystal chandeliers and the option of a separate bar area. Located on the second floor of the hotel, this elegant room is filled with natural light.
The iconic Chapel is a now deconsecrated chapel with original architectural features, elegant furnishings and a spectacular Lutyens-designed hall with double-height ceilings from which shimmer the most magnificent chandeliers.
The Seamus Heaney Library is an intimate setting with wood-panelled walls, ample natural light and amazing book-lined walls, Named after Seamus Heaney, the Nobel Prize-winning Irish poet and playwright who was a regular guest at the hotel, this is a unique and atmospheric space featuring hundreds of first editions dating from the 1930s as well as a range of 20th century classics. The room is finished with Lutyens-designed “spiderback” chairs, a long oak table and parquet wood floors.
