The Boathouse Restaurant sits on the bank of Bracebridge pool—one of the many beautiful lakes to be found in Sutton Park in Birmingham—and is surrounded by 2500 acres of rustic parkland. The Boathouse was once one of many used by Henry the VIII but was rebuilt in the 19th century so that today it is a lovely gothic-style boathouse and exclusive use wedding venue. The Boathouse Restaurant is licensed to conduct civil ceremonies and partnerships and has room to accommodate up to 55 guests for your wedding ceremony, up to 90 guests for a wedding breakfast, and up to 160 guests for your reception with use of the Boathouse Restaurant’s marquee.

The Boathouse Restaurant offers a charming dining room backdrop of soft lighting, wooden floors, and canvas art and “modern British brasserie and bistro cooking”. Between them, husband and wife catering team Laurence & Fran O’Meara have over 60 years of experience, making them the perfect choice to organise and oversee preparation for your wedding day.
