The Bowdon Rooms is really a very special place. Built in 1903 as a place to entertain, it is still fulfilling that purpose. The current business owners have lovingly restored this jewel of a ballroom into a stunning Wedding Venue. Classic creams & greens, the room can be transformed with voiles and lights into the room of your dreams. Set in a leafy village near Altrincham, Cheshire, The Bowdon Rooms is available for exclusive bookings, so you can have the personalised wedding that you have always dreamt about.

The current Wedding team have delivered on over 300 Weddings, we are a very experienced team indeed, with award winning chefs on site too.

Beautiful chandeliers tower over the ballroom; you can tailor your menus, layout and look and feel of the room by working with our in-house Wedding Planners, nothing is too much trouble for us, please let us know your ideas when you come and visit. We have 2 rooms for Civil Ceremonies, drinks reception rooms, bridal rooms if you wish for hair & make-up as well as red carpet receptions.

We have our own stage, PA and sound engineers too, so if you are looking to party long into the night and have the perfect Cheshire Wedding then we have all the facilities required.

We always offer bespoke Weddings, there are no fixed packages, just an array of options and food and drinks, including welcome bubbles, cocktails, real ale & more. All you have to do is speak to Karen, our very, very experienced Wedding Planner and have a chat and a cup of tea and tell her all about your aspirations – we really will make your dream Wedding come to life.

Our beautiful spacious ballroom seats up to 230 guests and offers a stage large enough for an 18-piece swing band. With a fully-integrated lighting system and an experienced team to help create your ideal theme, we have everything to inspire and deliver – all under one roof.

We have our fully-sprung maple dance floor to really get the party swinging and we have a late licence until 1am every weekend. As wedding specialists, we always provide wedding guests with complete privacy, so you will have this charming ambiance for the entire day, completely dedicated to you.
