Dating back to 1775, the magnificent Georgian Guildhall is located at the centre of the World Heritage city of Bath, close to the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey. It houses a number of rooms of differing sizes, the most popular being the sumptuous Banqueting Room and the adjoining Aix en Provence Room. The Banqueting Room has plenty of space and is decorated with fine plasterwork, royal paintings and chandeliers. It offers space for 180 guests for a reception, or 360 for a ceremony.
The venue is very flexible, allowing couples free choice when it comes to suppliers, including their own caterer.
Close to the Guildhall are the lovely Parade Gardens, which overlook the River Avon and Pulteney Bridge – perfect for wedding photos on a fine day.
