Welcome to the Roebuck Inn
Our Roebuck Inn, on Mill Lane in Mobberley, lay closed, quiet and in sore need of a sympathetic restoration and some TLC for three years before Tim Bird and Mary McLaughlin, the owners of seven lovely individual pubs under the Cheshire Cat Pubs and Bars banner, successfully bought the freehold back in May 2014.
As a Grade II listed building dating back to circa 1708, the Roebuck Inn is the oldest inn in Mobberley. The plan was to restore it back to its famous origins as a cosy inn with six rustic ‘boutique’ bedrooms and an intimate ‘neighborhood bistro’ with tiered terraces and gardens.
It was very important to us to do justice to this incredible place.
