The Square was founded in 1999 as a Private Members Club in Bristol for the creative industries encompassing arts, media and music. Today it thrives on the same ethos and our members enjoy a range of personal and professional benefits. Aside from using the space to network, relax or socialise in your own way, The Square hosts a range of events from poetry nights to workshops and tastings to live music, and also presents high-profile guest speakers such as Michael Eavis, Joe Boyd and Marcus du Sautoy. As well as our new flexible working spaces, we have areas to lounge, dine and to enjoy a few cocktails, making it the perfect space to work or kick back after a long day. Our outdoor terrace is also a little hidden gem that offers al fresco charm.
