The Vean is a large luxurious 8 double bedroom country house in the village of Caerhays, with a license for civil ceremonies. The house is also suitable for receptions, for smaller numbers in the house or for up to 150 people in rural splendor with a marquee on the lawn.

The Vean is a beautiful restored Georgian country house nestled in the wooded Porthluney valley, in a tranquil setting, with views over Caerhays Castle Gardens. This idyllic rural location is less than a mile from the beaches of Porthluney and Portholland.The house has 8 luxurious en-suite double bedrooms, sleeping 16 and a stunning dining room which can seat up to 18 people.The Vean provides seclusion without isolation, privacy with luxury. Perfect for weddings, private occasions or celebrations, the ideal venue for business or pleasure. We are flexible, offering a range of options including fully catered luxury breaks, self-catered

holidays or bed and breakfast with an evening meal if requested in advance. The Vean can also be hired just for the day or an evening.We are happy to provide or arrange additional services and facilities to enhance your stay.
