Walton Castle dates back to 1620 and is a grade 2 listed prestigious hill top property, set in 4 acres of private grounds in Clevedon. The castle can be hired for exclusive use and is the perfect setting to host the most fantastic weddings, civil ceremonies, civil partnerships & private celebrations. 

As they are a private venue, they encourage their brides and grooms to take control and put their own personal stamp on their very special day with an experienced team here to guide you if required.

Walton Castle in Clevedon sleeps 16-20 guests. In the keep you will find the master bedroom along with its private balcony on the top floor, a large sitting room, fully equipped kitchen and two further double bedrooms with direct access to the patio and swimming pool. The outer castle walls contain 8 turrets, 5 more bedrooms, and two entertaining rooms.

There are also two large turrets for entertaining your guests, with standing capacities 150 and 80, where you can party all night long if you so desire. 

The inner cobbled courtyard is stunning and perfect for receptions in warmer climes and the lawns within the castle walls can comfortably accommodate a marquee for 120. For larger events, the flat lawn outside the castle walls are perfect for large outdoor events and marquees for in excess of 400.

As well as being licensed for civil ceremonies, they have a wide variety of catering options available. They do not charge corkage – you simply bring your own. The castle is hired for exclusive use and includes all accommodation and bed linen.
