Dining at the Waterfront is always a bit of a treat. My background in hotels such as the Lyzzick Hall Country House in Keswick and Armathwaite Hall in Bassenthwaite encouraged me to use only the finest, local ingredients and to cook all the beautiful food on our menu with care and flair. 95% of our fish is locally caught and sourced from Donnan’s on the harbourside here in Whitehaven, our meat is from a Lakeland butcher, and our fruit and veg comes from Kinsella’s the long established green-grocer in town.

Whether you are looking for a relaxed lunch or evening dining, a wedding civil ceremony and reception for up to 60 people, or have a corporate party you would like to entertain here, the Waterfront Restaurant and Bar has a well established reputation for fine food and a warm atmosphere.
