Weddington Strings provide superb entertainment for weddings, events, parties and functions. We perform regularly as string quartets, trios, duos and solo violin/cello in London and throughout the South of England.

We have a huge range of repertoire from Classical to Jazz, Film/TV, Theatre/West End and Rock & Pop. We also provide bespoke arrangements for any genre of music, and recordings on request. We’re also available for sessions and concerts too!

As well as providing background entertainment, we also provide a lively street performance show, Classical Gala concerts (with or without singers), Palm Court gigs and even a pub quiz!

Our Garden Gigs (new for 2021) encompass any of the above, plus we do a Rock & Pop requests gig too.

Our members are all seasoned professional players who've performed with amongst others the Philharmonia, BBC orchestras, CBSO, Bournemouth Symphony and Royal Opera House. They've appeared both in the recording studio and on tour, alongside artists including Paul McCartney, Robbie Williams, Lisa Stansfield, Nitin Sawnhey, the Pet Shop Boys, Girls Aloud,Travis,  Elbow, Duffy, Bjork, Jools Holland and Beverley Knight. Tours include Les Miserables, War of the Worlds, Belle & Sebastien, Elaine Page and Cesare Cremonini.

This year's most recent and upcoming performances include the Hampton Court and Chelsea Flower Shows, as well as appearing on Channel Four's 'A Very British Country House'.
