At Winslowe House we work on a very different ethos to other venues. We dont offer wedding packages, so you can specify what you would like on your special day and how you want it organised - we then price accordingly."Your day, your way". Keeping things simple can often be most effective and within a realistic budget.

We have a wedding and civil ceremony licence for the Barford Room (maximum 60 guests) and can cater for up to 100 guests for any receptions. After February 2019 only humanist or alternative ceremonies would be available.What better way to start your special event than a drive along the tree-lined carriageway to Winslowe House where you can enter another world, leaving your cares and worries behind you. Our weddings and special occasions are planned and co-ordinated by our ‘in-house’ executive, who has a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for such occasions. She will be pleased to share her knowledge and experience with you and will willingly co-ordinate your ideas for that special day. We cater for the aspiring couple that are looking for a luxurious, unique, exclusive, competitive venue. We are happy to accommodate “Ceremony Only” requests - Winslowe House can be used as your own personal Registry Office with the ability to serve drinks and canapés, and with photograph opportunities after your ceremony for those not wanting a reception; or the Ceremony can precede the Wedding Breakfast and/or Evening Reception. After February 2019 only humanist or alternative ceremonies would be available.Our aim is to make you feel at home and relaxed on your special day, without the impersonal ‘hotel-feel’. We appreciate that the day is 'yours' and will endeavour to make your celebration enjoyable, carefree and memorable. We offer you a personal service so that your wishes can be fulfilled and your dreams come true.At a glance….We cater for all styles of wedding receptions, from a small select luncheon to luxury marquee accommodation for up to 100 guests, dressed with wall drapes and comfortably furnished to co-ordinate with your colour scheme. Flooring is of course included and heating can be provided. Our menus are varied and interesting and range from a cream tea, finger buffet, hot/cold buffet, 3-course meal, 5-course meal, to a Hog Roast, etc. – in other words, whatever you would like…. The magnificent gardens at Winslowe House provide the perfect backdrop for your special photographs in the spring there are carpets of bluebells in the woodland, and there are flowering shrubs in the garden all year round. Similarly the Salisbury Hall, with its sweeping staircase, lends itself for individual or group photographs.
