Chocolate wedding cakes
A chocolate wedding cake is the ultimate indulgence. A rich milk or dark chocolate cake could be served as a very special wedding breakfast dessert with fresh juicy strawberries and cream while a white chocolate cake with a pretty cake topper makes for a very sweet alternative to the traditional fruit cake.

Chocolate wedding favours
Giving chocolate as wedding favours to each guest has become more fashionable than the customary sugared almonds which were given to represent good health and fertility. Offer your guests a sweet treat of tiny chocolate Easter eggs, colourful foil wrapped chocolates or dragees presented in style. Personalised wrapped chocolates and chocolate coins in the form of lucky silver sixpences are lovely little gifts for your guests.

Chocolate brown wedding colours
Your Easter wedding would look ultra stylish in all shades of chocolate brown from a rich dark coffee colour to a light creamy mocha. Warm earthy brown goes well with ivory, white or cream and you could add an accent colour in for extra interest such as silver or gold, pink, lilac or green, orange or red. A chocolate brown colour scheme is perfect for an organic, rustic style wedding set in a country barn or in woodland and yet equally stylish for a grander more formal wedding.

Finishing touches
If it’s not too hot outside ask your flower girls to hand out foil-wrapped mini eggs in your wedding colours to each guest from their flower baskets. A chocolate fountain is also great fun; dip fresh fruit, marshmallows and toasted coconut into warm running chocolate. Hire an amazing chocolate fountain for a memorable finishing touch to a chocolate-inspired wedding reception organise an Easter Egg hunt for the children.
Chocolate inspired cocktail by Aldi
And finally, this unusual chocolate cocktail from Aldi could become a real talking point of your wedding reception. Coconut and white chocolate is a fantastic combination and the rum in this cocktail helps to cut through the richness of the chocolate.
