Elsker Creations is all about pressed flowers whether it’s preserving your wedding flowers into stunning keepsakes for yourself and loved ones or creating beautiful bespoke details such as place settings or hanging baubles for the day itself.
Bouquet Preservation
We spend so much time creating and curating the flowers for our wedding day that it can be so sad not to be able to cherish them for longer. I preserve the flowers from your day so that you can enjoy them for years to come. While the majority of preservations tend to be bouquets it is not exclusive to that and couples can send button holes, table flowers, bridesmaids flowers…anything really! There are a number of options to choose from, including frame type and size, style of preservation, the addition of gold leaf and personalisation’s, transforming your bouquet into artwork you can keep forever.
These frames make wonderful gifts, and over the years we have often found it is not only the bride who get in touch to order and organise. It makes a lovely and unique wedding present from parents, in laws, bridesmaids, siblings and friends. In addition to creating a keepsake for the couple I also make a variety of smaller frames or hanging baubles that additional flowers can be framed into. These are fantastic ‘thank yous’ for the bridal party and family members. I make the process as easy as possible by providing a box and return postage in advance so that all you need to do is put the bouquet in the box, seal it and post it.
For the big day
Elsker Creations also works collaboratively with couples in the wedding planning stage to provide a number of products for the big day, including but not limited to, places name’s with pressed flowers in mini frames, hanging baubles (with and without lights inside), signage, place settings and table numbers. Working closely with couples on their vision is key and I love creating and collaborating with them. This collaborative process has often generated some fantastic original ideas, so while these are some suggestions of what can be provided for your wedding day there is also space to create something entirely new – I’d love to hear your ideas!
One of the most popular items is the mini flower frames. These are the most gorgeous and memorable wedding favours but can also double up as a place setting and sit beautifully on a plate.
Place settings can also be created on card and combine our modern calligraphy and pressed flowers. Colour combinations are entirely unique to the couple and their vision.
Our hanging baubles are also a stunning addition to a more rural or bohemian setting. They can be hung in barns, yurts marquees and look incredible at varying heights. They contain gold leaf and so they shimmer in the light. They also can double up as gifts for after the big day! I am also a calligrapher and sign-writer so can create pressed flower and gold leaf signage or table numbers/names. It really is a varied mix with endless possibilities.
