We headed to Oxfordshire to explore Primrose Hill Farm, a beautiful, family-run wedding venue in the heart of the countryside.
Primrose Hill Farm is a luxury new wedding venue, consisting of a Grade II listed farmhouse and a stylish barn conversion, located just 60 minutes from London by direct train.
The venue is run by JJ and his family (including their three adorable dogs, Tilly, Ted and Trouble), all of whom are dedicated to making sure your big day is exactly how you want it to be, whilst retaining that inimitable family feel.
The key members of your wedding party can stay on site in the cosy bedrooms and enjoy a farmhouse breakfast to clear heads the morning after the big day. You can also take advantage of the beautiful grounds and go for a brisk walk around the farm – which also provides ample opportunities for your wedding photographs too.
In terms of the big day itself, your celebrations will take place in the newly converted barns – these contemporary spaces are super adaptable allowing you to construct the wedding setting of your dreams.
The barn is a blank canvas without being soulless – lots of work has gone into the renovation to maintain the farm feel, but you can dress it up or down as much as you like.
The catering is a huge talking point at Primrose Hill Farm – all food is responsibly sourced and inspired by the rural location, expertly made by the on-site catering team. And no meal is complete without the right drinks, so North Oxfordshire Wine has partnered with the venue to provide a carefully curated selection of champagnes, prosecco, wines and spirits to accompany your food.
During our visit, the space had been utterly transformed by Fabulous Flowers, with a range of floral displays to show what could be done with the space. Whether you want a glamorous affair or a more low-key rustic vibe, your dreams will become a reality at the super versatile Primrose Hill Farm!
