So we were super delighted to learn that Daniel Wakeford and Lily Taylor, who met on last year’s Christmas special of The Undateables, are engaged!
Daniel is a singer/songwriter who has autism and had struggled to find love, and he was paired up with Lily, who has learning difficulties. They hit it off right away – you can see the video of their ‘best date in the world’ below, and Channel 4 has returned to check on their relationship.
You can see ‘The Undateables: A Festive Proposal’ tonight on Channel 4 – Daniel proposes to Lily after serenading her with the Christmas classic ‘All I Want For Christmas is You’, with the help of a choir, at Brighton Bandstand.
