What should be included in a wedding planner book?
If you’re buying a wedding planner book or organiser, or if you want to make your own, you’ll need to make sure the following sections are included in your wedding planner:
- Guests – the space to make a guest list will be very useful!
- Stationery – including a breakdown of what wedding stationery you need.
- Venue – you’ll need space to note your favourites, your viewing times and key info about each one, such as guest capacity, accommodation, parking etc.
- Wedding outfits – space to jot down any appointments, pick up times, alterations and a place to stash your cuttings from magazines and names of favourite brands.
- Supplier information – you’ll want a section devoted to the different suppliers you like for key parts of your wedding, like the wedding cake, stationery, flowers, entertainment and more.
- Gift list – keep any gift list info you come across stored safely so it’s easy to compare and pick the right one for you.
- Honeymoon – have a section for all your honeymoon dreaming too!
Do I need a wedding planner book?
We would say it makes sense to have some sort of filing system for your wedding planning. Of course, a folder on your laptop is totally fine, but the real benefit of having a wedding planner book is that it becomes a nice keepsake to look back on and reminisce about all the fun you had planning your dream day.
