Place a gorgeous ice sculpture at the focal point of the venue – perhaps at the entrance, or at a dramatically near the centre of the reception room – you can have it carved to show anything you like, from snowflakes to a scuplture of yourself with the groom!

The top table is the focus of the reception – and it gets photographed a lot too! Both the table and the background are equally important – consider using the same white twig trees as at the entrance for the centrepiece, and keep the decor snow white.

For table centrepieces, choose delicate crystals hanging from wintery twigs at the centre of the table, or martini glasses filled with fun snow and snowballs!

Don’t neglect the ceiling – sumptuous white voile draping lit with beautiful white fairy lights will create a magical atmosphere.

For the tables, white is right as the main colour, with blue accents. In the room below, the poles were wrapped in white fabric, making them look as if covered in frost, and the twinkle lights in the voile draping at the ceiling give the room a more wintry feel. The table centrepieces use real roses, but are given that winter wonderland touch by use of dangling crystal garlands.
