Armathwaite Hall, the Lake District’s luxury hotel and spa and a popular venue for guests with dogs, has teamed up with Cockermouth based company The Dog Room to introduce two brand new dog grooming packages for weddings.
On the morning of the ceremony, an experienced groomer will collect the dog from one of the hotel’s dog friendly rooms so that the couple can focus on getting wedding ready.
Pooches will be taken to The Dog Grooming’s Centre in Cockermouth to be bathed, dried and groomed and then transported back to the venue so that they are ready – with fresh paws and wagging tails and often in their bow tie or wedding attire – to accompany their brides down the aisle.
Couples can choose from the standard Furry Guest Package, £60, which covers a bath, blow dry and tidy up with a fragrance spray of client’s choice, or the premium I Do Package, £150, which includes an additional full breed style, nail trim, ear cleanse, blueberry facial scrub and paw hydrating balm.
For an extra touch of fun and elegance, the ‘I Do’ package includes a complimentary handmade neck collar made by a local florist, which will incorporate chosen colours and flowers to match the colour scheme requested by clients.
