Bespoke Wedding Gin Session
This is a fun interactive wedding session that’s just perfect for gin lovers. You will be taken on an entertaining historical tour of our nation’s favourite tipple, where you’ll be guided to mix your perfect marriage of flavours and botanicals to create your own bespoke gin.
The Ginstitute
I experienced the full service myself, loved every minute of it and I’m still enjoying my bespoke gin, which I can reorder at anytime. Their knowledgeable and entertaining ‘gin instructor’ took us through an in-depth journey through gin’s colourful past; from its earliest creation right through to the golden era of gin. We then moved through to the blending rooms to sample our way through a wide range of pure botanical distillates where we created our own bespoke blend of gin. The session was enlivened by several favourite gin drinks and cocktails and I left there with a large smile and a bottle of my own personal blend in a goodie bag to take home!
Alternative Stag and Hen Do
The Ginstitute already offers this experience to groups and ensures everyone is suitably lubricated with incredible juniper-based drinks throughout the course of the session. It’s the perfect alternative stag or hen do, a brilliant wedding gift for a bride and groom-to-be, or a gift for the happy couple to enjoy with all the bridal party, either before or after the wedding, with each session available for up to 20 people.
Bespoke Gin Wedding Favours
Alongside offering your wedding guests a first reception drink of your own creation, your bespoke blend of gin can also be shared with each guest as unique wedding favours. The Ginstitute will bottle and deliver miniature bottles of your recipe with its unique flavours, your own name for the blend and a choice of labels with personalised templates also available on request, so your bottle design can be as unique as its contents.

Situated at The Distillery, in London’s famous Portobello Road, home of the UK’s largest independent premium gin, Portobello Road Gin, is The Ginstitute. Housed in a building that’s been a series of famous drinking establishments since 1867, (most famously The Colville Hotel, known affectionately as ‘the Pisshouse’), it’s good to know you can line your stomachs in the restaurant on the ground floor and continue drinking in the Gintonica bar on the top floor before staying the night in one of the Distillery’s three boutique bedrooms there.
