When Aneh and Dami climbed aboard a pirate ship last year, little did Aneh know that Dami had a certain ‘jewel’ up his sleeve! They took five months to plan their beautifully intimate pastel green and ivory wedding in Wimbledon, a process which Aneh says ‘need not be a stressful one’! Enjoy their wedding, beautifully documented by Jeff Sham Photography.

We met… at university.
Your first impressions of Dami were… shy, polite and so handsome!
His first impressions of you were… bright eyes and welcoming smile!
The proposal… We were on a replica pirate ship in the most beautiful place on the planet, Dami disappeared after lunch only to return with champagne and a beautiful engagement ring!
My favourite part of the wedding was… when we exchanged vows.
My dress was… a simple and elegant ivory empire style dress – a spitting image of the vision I had for my wedding dress.
We chose our venue because… we were looking for a local venue with an intimate feel, and the wedding coordinator was very friendly and helpful.
Our wedding theme/colours… We had an ivory and pastel green colour scheme.
Our bridesmaids/groomsmen were… my best friend and Dami’s sister were Bridesmaids; Dami’s brother was the Best Man.
Our first dance song was… “Can I have this Dance (for the Rest of My Life)” by Anne Murray.
My advice to other brides is...Try to be as organized as possible, in that way, you can take the wedding planning easy and enjoy every minute of the experience. It need not be a stressful process! Shop around for photographers and be sure that the one you pick is professional and friendly. You want someone who you feel comfortable with as he is likely to be very much involved with planning the order of the day; that’s exactly who Jeff Sham was for us.
