How did your partner (or you) propose?
Nathan knew I liked certain traditions…so he made sure he asked my dad first…. Once he had my dads approval, he set about his plan! I’d been at work all day and came home that evening tired and ready for a quick tea! He offered to cook and I was more than happy to accept so off he went to the kitchen. He shouted through to me asking if I wanted something simple and I said yes. About 10 minutes late, he came into the living room with a little plate (my first thought was ‘my tea better be bigger than that!’) Once he passed me the plate, I think it must’ve been about 10 minutes till I stopped laughing!! He’d toasted a piece of bread and cut it into a heart shape. He then got a tin of spaghetti letters and spelt out ‘Marry Me’ on it!
Who did you share the news of your engagement with first?
I e‐mailed my mum and dad with the photo as they were on a cruise at the time, then we went to tell Nathans family.
