We met in a night club 18 years ago. We were 16.

In bed at my mum’s house.

Did you have hen and stag celebrations? If so, what did you do?

I went to the Willows with 25 friends and Phil went out with the lads.

How did your groom help with the wedding planning?

Because the first time around it was a small affair, he didn’t help much, but this time around he was a fantastic help in every way possible. As you have guessed, we renewed our wedding vows after 11 years. It was a fantastic day with carriage and horses, Hollywood dreams dress, bridesmaids, best men, the works.

Did you use confetti to plan your wedding? If so, how did the website help you?

I was never away from the website. The girls on the other side were fantastic.

Tell us about your outfit, and where you bought it

I bought a Hollywood dreams dress and had some alteration done to it. I bought it in Alderly Edge, Bolton.

Did you have bridesmaids? If so, who did you choose and what did they wear?

I had three bridesmaids and one flower girl. The bridesmaids wore two piece aqua Hillary Morgan suits with wraps and the flower girls wore ivory dresses from BHS.

Who did your groom choose for his best man and ushers, and what did they wear?

Phil had two best men one being our son and the other his brother. They all wore Edwardian blue jackets, pin striped pants, gold cravats and looked fantastic.

We had the full church wedding with bells, readings done by both of our children and bubble blown outside.

Where did you hold your ceremony?

We held our ceremony at St Marks Church in Worsley

Where did you hold your reception?

Worsley Court House, Worsley.

I had a carriage and two black horses and the bridesmaids had vintage cars.

How many guests did you invite to your wedding, and did you have a separate evening guest list?

We had 150 guests for all day and night.

Did your reception have a particular theme in terms of colour or style?

The colours were aqua, silver and ivory.

How did you incorporate this in to your table settings?

We had candle arrangements, balloons, cameras, and party poppers.

Did you give your guests favours?

Yes, we had chocolates made with the date and our name on them.

Describe your flowers (bouquets and table decorations). Who was your florist?

I had my flowers made out of crystal and silk.

What did you choose to have on your menu? Did you have an outside caterer or did your venue handle the catering?

The venue did all the catering. We had two buffets which were fantastic.

What did you choose for your wedding cake, and who made it?

My cake was in the shape of a flower head with a candle in the middle. The design was out of the wedding ideas book and it was made by my sister’s mother in law.

We had a disco.

We stayed at the Marriott in Worsley.

When I arrived at church and Phil said a looked like a princess.
