How did your partner (or you) propose?
It was Karl’s birthday, so I had prepared a romantic candlelit dinner. Afterwards I was sitting in our living room and Karl kept playing around with the Christmas tree. We had some chocolate decorations hanging up and he asked me to help him pick one. I went over and there hidden in the tree was a box. I picked it up, opened it and as soon as I saw the ring, I started crying! Karl took the box of me and got down on one knee. Then he told me how much he loved me and asked me to marry him, which made me cry more! (They were happy tears!!). It couldn’t have been more perfect!
Who did you share the news of your engagement with first?
I rang my mum, straight away.

Its an 18 carat white gold band that narrows towards my round cut diamond, its perfect!

No, he picked it out himself, he even got the right size!
