We met in Loughborough whilst I was on a night out with my friends.
How old are you both?
24 and 27
Where, when and how did he (or you!) propose?
He proposed to me on 23rd May 2007 in Barbados whilst we were on holiday, it was a total surprise! He took me to a gorgeous restaurant by the sea which is where he proposed
Did you have hen and stag celebrations? If so, what did you do?
Craig went to Bratislava for the weekend and dressed up as super heroes and I went to London for the weekend and went cocktail making and dressed up as Moulin Rouge
Did you use confetti to plan your wedding? If so, how did the website help you?
Yes I did use the website and found lots of ideas
Did you buy any confetti products for your wedding? If so, did you visit a store, buy online or by mail order?
Yes I bought my wedding favours from you – top hats for the men and handbags for the ladies
Tell us about your outfit, and where you bought it
My dress was from Grace Couture and the designer was Toi Couture, Italy. My dress was champagne and the bodice was very fitted with cups in a vintage style with a tulle bottom.
Did you have bridesmaids? If so, who did you choose and what did they wear?
I had 4 bridesmaids, my 3 sisters and my friend, they all had long fitted straight dresses with fishtail bottoms from Kelsey Rose
Who did your groom choose for his best man and ushers, and what did they wear?
Craig chose his brother Gavin to be best man and 3 of his close friends to be ushers, they all wore brown tailcoats with champagne swirl waistcoats

Did you have any special wedding transport?
My uncle drove me in his Rolls Royce Phantom which was amazing
How many guests did you invite to your wedding, and did you have a separate evening guest list?
We had 66 guests in the day and then a further 45 in the evening
Did your reception have a particular theme in terms of colour or style?
My flowers were roses with butterflies and pearls so I tried to keep the theme throughout with my cake also having handmade roses.
How did you incorporate this in to your table settings?
I had tall vases on the tables with balls of roses and tall candle sticks with mocha coloured runners and mirrored tiles with tea lights
Did you give your guests favours?
Yes handbags filled with mini eggs for the ladies and top hats for the men
Describe your flowers (bouquets and table decorations). Who was your florist?
My florist was Pam Gibson of Nottingham. My flowers were hand tied bouquets of roses for all of us and tall glass vases for the tables with balls of roses on top with butterflies and pearls inside the vases
What did you choose to have on your menu? Did you have an outside caterer or did your venue handle the catering?
We had melon and smoked salmon to start, lamb shank and raspberry pavlova and the venue handled the catering
What did you choose for your wedding cake, and who made it?
We had a 4 tiered wedding cake with champagne pink icing and handmade roses. We had jam sponge, carrot cake and chocolate cake
Did you have any entertainment during the day or evening?
We had a saxophonist to play during the ceremony and afterwards and a DJ and singer in the evening
Did you have a gift list? If so, who did you have your list with?
We requested Kuoni travel vouchers towards our honeymoon
Where did you spend your first night and honeymoon? Who did you book your honeymoon with?
Our first night was at Colwick Hall Hotel and our honeymoon was in the Maldives booked with Kuoni
What was your most memorable moment of the day?
Walking down the aisle and seeing everyone’s faces it was amazing!
Did you experience any “nightmare” moments in the run up to your wedding or on the day?
No surprisingly everything went to plan
Is there anything you would do differently, or any advice you would give to other brides?
Don’t spend too much on the little things as people don’t notice as much and try and be as organised as possible
