I’m 30 and he is 27.
Where, when and how did he (or you!) propose?
Central Park in New York on April Fool’s Day 2005.
Did you have hen and stag celebrations? If so, what did you do?
Yes, I went to Marbella for three nights. He went to Ibiza for a week!
How did your groom help with the wedding planning?
Yes, he booked the honeymoon (a surprise) and the band.
Did you use confetti to plan your wedding? If so, how did the website help you?
Yes, the cafe and shop.
Did you buy any confetti products for your wedding? If so, did you visit a store, buy online or by mail order?
Yes. We bought online and the Tottenham Court Road shop.

Alan Hannah Dress bought from Miss Bush in Ripley, Surrey.
Did you have bridesmaids? If so, who did you choose and what did they wear?
Yes, three bridesmaids. One adult and two little ones. The adult dresses were from Fenn Wright and Manson. The little ones wore dresses from Harrods.
Who did your groom choose for his best man and ushers, and what did they wear?
His best friend for best man and brothers as ushers. All wore Paul Smith suits.
Did you have a civil or religious ceremony?
Civil.
Where did you hold your ceremony?
In a hotel- Barnett Hill, Surrey.
Where did you hold your reception?
Barnett Hill, Surrey.
Did you have any special wedding transport?
I hired a chauffeur driven (James Bond look-alike) Aston Martin as a surprise for my husband.
How many guests did you invite to your wedding, and did you have a separate evening guest list?
65 to the day and a further 30 to the evening.
Did your reception have a particular theme in terms of colour or style?
Pink, ivory and sparkly.
How did you incorporate this in to your table settings?
Yes.
Did you give your guests favours?
Yes, lottery scratch cards.
Describe your flowers (bouquets and table decorations). Who was your florist?
All roses. My bouquet was pink and the groom’s buttonhole was pink. Everything else was ivory. Dawn Jennings- fabulous.
What did you choose to have on your menu? Did you have an outside caterer or did your venue handle the catering?
Venue did the catering. We had lamb for the main course.
What did you choose for your wedding cake, and who made it?
White chocolate wedding cake with strawberries.
Did you have any entertainment during the day or evening?
Live band for evening and caricaturist for the day time while photos were being taken.
Did you have a gift list? If so, who did you have your list with?
No.
Where did you spend your first night and honeymoon? Who did you book your honeymoon with?
We spent the first night at the venue. We went to Mauritius for our honeymoon.
What was your most memorable moment of the day?
Seeing my husband’s face while walking down the aisle.
