How did your partner (or you) propose?
On Christmas day, he’d waited until I’d opened my presents, and handed me a box and got down on one knee. He wanted to do it on new years eve just as it turned midnight, but he couldn’t wait any longer.
Who did you share the news of your engagement with first?
His parents, and then mine, although both sets all ready knew (just didn’t know when) because he asked my parents permission.

it’s a gold band, with a diamond each side, and a black/blue sapphire in the middle.

It’s at the end of this month

around 70 freinds, family.
