not really he got a few odd jobs to do like picking the kilts and the invitations so he felt included through

yes i used confetti loads for tips and ideas, plus the chat room was brill cause i got to talk to brides who were having the same problems and worries

i choose my dress as soon as i saw it i find if it the right dress you will just know straight away

i had three 3 bridemaids my sister and my two kids, for the dresses i picked a bridemaids dress for my sis from the same place i got my dress but for the kids i picked plain white dresses from next and the lady who was altering my dress sewed on a sash and bow in the same colour as my sisters which looked brill and saved alot of money

the men all wore kilts

yes, we had it in our local church

in our local town hall

yes my husband is a lorry driver and we hired a huge lorry to take him 2 the church and take us to the reception
How many guests did you invite to your wedding, and did you have a separate evening guest list?
there were 70 all day and 200 at night
Did your reception have a particular theme in terms of colour or style?
we had a scottish themed wedding with a purple colour scheme
How did you incorporate this in to your table settings?
had purple flowers in the table decs and the table plans ( name tags, table names etc) the chair bows were also purple

yes because we had a scottish theme our favours was scottish tablet in a white box with purple ribbon

scottish thistle and purple flowers and white roses with Diamantes
What did you choose to have on your menu? Did you have an outside caterer or did your venue handle the catering?
yes we have a three course meal, then haggis, neeps and tatties for night time plus a chocolate fountain

rainbow sugar craft (see pic)

we had a band playing who done all sorts of music and scottish dancing

yeah which was much needed as you find that after the wedding i was exhausted and was on a huge comedown which the wedding i had been planning 4 a year was all over

the first dance was amazing
Did you experience any “nightmare” moments in the run up to your wedding or on the day?
yes which seemed huge at the time but now they just became what made the wedding more brill
Is there anything you would do differently, or any advice you would give to other brides?
no, but if i had advice for other brides its get it videograher i am so glad i did i love being able to experience it again and again and my kids love watching it as my little one was so wee she can watch it wen she is older
