Kira and Ryan’s unforgettable New Year’s Eve wedding is a beautifully elegant, inspirational shoot that shows just how magical a December wedding can be. Dustings of snow, romantic red roses, and warm candlelight abound, this is an intimate wedding with all the trappings of a much grander affair. It’s the perfect winter wedding!
Kira and Ryan’s New Year’s Eve wedding, photographed by Bethany Carlson Photography, is the epitome of winter charm. Picturesque snowfalls and splashes of colour add life and warmth to the cold greys and whites to create a truly stunning masterpiece. We love the shots of Kira’s dress in front of the red winter berries, and those royal purple shoes are a beautiful winter wedding accessory.
The ceremony was a very small, intimate gathering of only the closest fends and family—quite contrary to the more traditionally popular New Year’s Eve weddings that are loud and full of energy.
We’ve fallen in love with these outdoor photos in the snowfall. The deep red ties and bouquets are wonderful next to the black and white of the suits and dresses. And the lace wedding dress that Kira chose is particularly stunning. It’s great to see the wedding party having some fun in the snow, too!
The day wouldn’t have been complete without the happy couple sharing a few quiet moments alone. The two of them cuddling together under this pretty patchwork quilt are so romantic!
As the day drew to a close, everyone withdrew to the beautiful Scholars Inn for the reception.
We can’t imagine anything better than bringing in the New Year among sparkling lights and good cheer. Congratulations to the happy couple!
