We met in Spain when we were both living there, Darren and his family opened a bar where i lived.

He proposed on my birthday the day after our son was born, in the hospital.

Yes, The Stag was a day at the Races in Newmarket and The Hens had a meal followed by many jugs of Woo Woo!

He helped with choosing a lot of things incl flowers and suits

Yes i got a lot of ideas, we chose purple chic.

My dress was the first thing i bought. I went to try some styles on and found the one! It was bought from Brides by Solo in Newmarket and it was a Trudy Lee dress

I had My sister and brothers girlfriend in alfred angelo purple chiffon dresses with Ivory Sash and my daughter and niece in ivory dresses with purple sash
Who did your groom choose for his best man and ushers, and what did they wear?
The best man was the grooms brother and the ushers were my brothers. They hired suits and wore black herringbone prince edward.

In our local church, St Martins, Exning, Newmarket

we invited aprox 100 and had a separate evening list, Not all guest we able to attend!

Yes, Home made scottish shortbread biscuit in a heart shape.

I had Purple Lisianthus, Hot pink Roses and Cream Gerberas, My florist was Fiona’s in Haverhill Suffolk I also had some preserved orchids shipped from america scattered on the tables
What did you choose to have on your menu? Did you have an outside caterer or did your venue handle the catering?
The venue handled the catering but we chose the menu.
What did you choose for your wedding cake, and who made it?
3 Tier, 1 Fruit, 2 Sponge, Orchids and heart shaped cake topper with our names and date of wedding. Cake made by Assured catering Newmarket
Did you have any entertainment during the day or evening?
We had a DJ in the evening.

Where did you spend your first night and honeymoon? Who did you book your honeymoon with?
We stayed at the hotel of the venue, we didn’t have a honeymoon a such, it was a 1st family holiday with our children to portugal.

All of it!!!
Did you experience any "nightmare" moments in the run up to your wedding or on the day?
Is there anything you would do differently, or any advice you would give to other brides?
i wouldn’t do anything differently, I have lots of advice for budget brides.
