Receiving wedding albums from brides for our real wedding articles is one of the most enjoyable parts of our job and this year has been one of our best years yet! From exotic destination weddings to traditional British affairs, eccentric themes and super cool city ceremonies we have been spoilt! After hours of reading through all of our 2015 real weddings (we never get bored!) we managed to narrow it down to our top 6, and here they are…
Alex and Audrey’s Uber Chic Real Wedding
Alex and Audrey’s uber chic wedding in the center of London was just too cool for us not to feature it in our favourite real weddings of 2015! From the intimate rooftop ceremony to their smart blue suits and vibrant colour scheme this summer wedding was everything a modern and stylish city wedding should be!
Katie and Ian’s Superhero Themed Wedding
We love a quirky wedding theme, so when we received Katie and Ian’s superhero themed wedding we knew straight away that it would make our shortlist for our favourite real weddings of 2015. We were in awe of Katie’s styling abilities and attention to detail as she managed to combine two very different styles and personalities perfectly, creating a stylish and unique wedding.
Laura and Daniel’s Big Day
This year our winners of our Win Your Wedding competition 2014 tied the knot, so it will come as no surprise that their wedding is featured as one of our favourites of the year! With £40,000 worth of wedding services and products to take advantage of, Laura and Daniel’s Big Day was very special! We were thrilled to be a part of their special day, styling their venue for them and helping them make their dream wedding a reality.
Lauren and David’s Country Themed Wedding
It was the bang-on trend, bohemian vibe of Lauren and David’s country fair wedding that we fell in love with. Lauren looked stunning in her Belle and Bunty vintage inspired wedding dress and her dramatic floral crown wreath completed her stunning look. This lovely couple said their I dos in an outdoor reception surrounded by the rolling hills of the Cotswolds.
Leanne and Chris’s Italian Real Wedding
What is more romantic than a stunning destination wedding in Italy! Leanne and Chris had just 30 close friends and family at their intimate alfresco ceremony followed by a reception over looking the beautiful Amalfi coast. Their big day was beautiful, romantic and full of fun – the perfect combination for an unforgettable day.
Sophie and Chris’s Yellow and Grey Themed Wedding
It’s always a challenge to combine two different cultures together at a wedding to create a seamless day, however Sophie had no trouble with incorporating her Chinese heritage into a British wedding. We also loved the story behind their bumblebee theme – a pet name that Sophie had given Chris at the beginning of their relationship to embarrass him in front of his football mates!
We would like to thank all of the brides and photographers that allowed us to share their big day with us and our readers. We have loved every second, looking through the photos and you will have without a doubt, inspired many of our readers for their very own wedding!
