September 14th was a nice day for a white, silver and crystal wedding, some picturesque showers, angelic little bridesmaids with teddy bears, and a marquee with singing waiters! Getting out the brollies didn’t even dampen Rachael and Andrew’s smiles – it was a happy day from beginning to end. Chantal Lanchance-Gibson took beautiful photographs to capture the special mood of the day.

Your favourite wedding story: After we had a lovely and fun photo session we sat down for our wedding meal, but first came the speeches. My father gave a lovely speech and read out a wonderful poem written by my Aunt Margaret, and then to my horror he also had my diary from when I was a teenager, at this point I just wanted to crawl under the table and hide! The speeches were fantastic and I was very proud of my husband’s. After a delicious meal we were getting served with our trio deserts when all of a sudden the waiters started singing and dancing, it was a great surprise that my mother had arranged for us. It had our guests up dancing and singing along, getting them ready for the party to follow!
