How old were you both when you got engaged?
I was 22 and Rob was 33! What a lucky guy, even if I say so myself.

How did your partner (or you) propose?
We had been talking about it for a long time so I have to say it wasn’t overly romantic. I knew when he asked my Dad and also when he ordered my ring, but it didn’t make it any less exciting! We couldn’t wait to get started with the planning!
Who did you share the news of your engagement with first?
My Parents! As they were expecting it since Rob had asked permission. I rang them shortly after he’d asked! They live abroad so a quick phone call to let them know as we were on our way out for a meal, to meet with my sisters and boyfriends. Then got the chance to show and tell them too!!
Describe your ring.
It is a GORGEOUS platinum ring with a 1ct solitaire. A simple elegant timeless ring! I love it!

Will your partner wear an engagement ring as well?
No, he can just about get his head round the idea of a wedding ring.
Did you have an engagement party?
No we didn’t actually, we were out for a meal that night anyway with my sisters so that was lovely and the champers flowed but no official party.

A restaurant near to us.
How many people were invited?
Just the 6 of us.
When do you plan to marry?
18/12/08! Only 23 days to go!
What are you looking forward to the most about planning a wedding?
Every little thing! I love organising things and have loved every second of it! If anyone needs any help any time, I’m your girl!
