You’ve seen the designer dresses on catwalks and in magazines, but the question on everyone’s lips is “how will that look on real women?” This is why we’ve created a collection of our favourite real brides wearing your favourite designers. Take a peek and be inspired!
Sam wore Justin Alexander
Sam says: “I spotted ‘my dress’ hanging shorter than all the others. My Mum wasn’t too sure about the length as I think she imagined a BIG white wedding dress. I had to try it on just to see, as soon as I came out of the changing room everyone turned and “aww’d”.
Stylist: We love Sam’s Justin Alexander dress, the feminine floral lace detail with beads working its way from the bodice to the skirt is beautiful and the full circle tea-length skirt compliments her personality. The delicate pearl accessories add the perfect final touch.
Lucy wore Jenny Packham
Stylist: Jenny Packham is renowned for her 1920’s inspired wedding gowns. With it’s elegant detailing and timeless silhouettes this dress was the perfect choice for Lucy. Her figure compliments the style of the dress, you don’t need to heavily accessories a Jenny Packham dress which is exactly what our bride did, a simple art deco bracelet and vintage brooch bouquet did the trick.
Vicky wore Maggie Sottero
Stylist: We fell in love as soon as we saw Vicky in her Maggie Sottero gown. This dramatic yet romantic tulle skirt is perfect for any bride wanting to show her femininity.
Nikki wore Justin Alexander
Nikki says:I always knew I wanted a fairytale style dress with layers of tulle, a striking bodice and a long train, but most importantly I wanted to feel like a princess for a day. I saw the dress and fell in love with it.
Stylist: Fairytale is definitely one word to describe Nikki’s dress. The delicate beaded gold bodice is what gives this dress the wow factor, not to mention the beautifully draping of the tulle skirt.
Laura wore Vera Wang
Laura says: ” I wanted timeless and classic which made it very easy to adjust nearer the date as I would have been 4 months pregnant on our wedding day. Luckily I wasn’t showing.”
Stylist: For any bride looking for a traditional gown with a touch of chic, Vera Wang is the designer for you. From the intricate lace detail to the eye catching belt, this gown is a timeless beauty.
Amy wore Pronovias
Stylist: Pronovias is the perfect designer for a bride looking for a dress that’s elegant, classy and sexy. The pleats and beaded detail beautifully emphasise Amy’s figure, the ideal style for our gorgeous bride.
Claire wore Lusan Mandongus
Stylist: It was love at first sight when we saw Claire’s Lusan Mandongus dress. Along with her lace accessories the overall look is glamorous and graceful.
Rebecca Pronovias
Stylist: We love Rebbeca’s Pronovias gown, we can imagine how beautiful she looked walking in to the ceremony with the dress elegantly floating past her guests.
Lynn wore Ian Stuart
Lynn says: ” I tried on this Ian Stuart design and it was amazing. I felt like one of the fairytale princesses I had on my wallpaper as a little girl, ones I used to gaze at while falling into a dreamy sleep. I tried a few others, but went back to my Ian Stuart a month later.”
Stylist: This amazing vintage inspired dress is undoubtedly Ian Stuart. The fitted bodice with lace embellished with sequins and beads flatters Lynn’s beautiful figure. The perfect choice for our bride.
Laura wore Justin Alexandra
Laura says: The one I chose stood out from the start. I tried on about 5 or 6 other dresses but none compared to the Justin Alexandra dress I had already chosen. My mum, auntie, cousin and sisters were all moved when I came out in my dress. They were all in agreement that it was ‘the one’.
Stylist: From the first picture you can see why our Laura fell in love with this dress. This figure hugging gown demands attention and makes our bride look every inch a glamour goddess.
