Wendy will never forget how emotional her special day was, from her dad’s tears as she appeared in her bridal gown, to arriving at the ceremony and seeing her husband-to-be waiting for her in his dapper suit. Colourful, personal, and full of joy – that was Wendy and Carl’s wedding day in three words!

Wedding dress by: My dress was a bespoke design by the incredible Jennifer Pritchard. I was very nervous about my dress and she made me feel so at ease from the word go.
First dance song: Al Green’s Let’s Stay Together
Your favourite wedding story: I have 2 stand out moments. Firstly, walking down the stairs to see my dad for the first time in my dress. The emotion in the room was palpable and I could see the tears in my dad’s eyes from the top of the stairs and everyone was in tears… including the photographer! As the youngest of 4 children and the only girl in the family it was a moment my dad had waited for all my life. My second stand out moment is standing outside the ceremony venue and hearing the incredible opening strings from Etta James’ At Last as my bridesmaids walked in to the ceremony then finally walking down the room on my dad’s arm looking at the guests smiling and seeing my gorgeous husband at the end all suited and booted. We met each other’s eyes and just beamed at each other!
