They met in November 2008 and got engaged on Christmas morning 2011. It only took a couple of months for Yvonne and Craig to realise they were made for each other! Just over a year later they planned a perfect wedding at St Andrew’s in the Square, a venue they both adored, attended by their 2-year-old son. Length of engagement… 1 year 4 months
Your ceremony and reception was… at St Andrew’s in the Square in Glasgow, a civil ceremony with 150 guests, and we had the reception at the same place. We had been to a party there in the past and we just loved the venue!

Our bridesmaids and groomsmen were… Norma, Barbara, Holly as bridesmaids and Michael and Graeme as groomsmen
My wedding dress was… I saw the dress for the first time on the Maggie Sottero website when my bridesmaid Norma was getting married couple of years previous and loved it, first dress I tried on along with about four others, but it was definitely the one… I had my mum and my niece Holly with me and it was the only one they liked on me, but no tears.
Our wedding was unique and special because… Our two year old son Jacob getting to be part of it.
Did anything funny or unusual happen at your wedding? The best man’s speech was very funny!
First dance song… At Last by Etta James
Best advice for brides… Stay calm and try not to stress about things that don’t really matter, try not to lose the importance of what the day is actually about – marrying your perfect partner
Our honeymoon was… at Meloneras Gran Canaris – we would recommend Hotel Lopesan Baobab – it was amazing!
My favourite part of the wedding… Walking down the aisle towards Craig
