1) Hales Hall & The Great Barn
Hales Hall is a luxury wedding venue in Norfolk, a restored, 15th century medieval estate (with ties to Henry VII) “set amid exquisite formal gardens and wild Norfolk meadows”, in beautiful Norfolk countryside and on the doorstep of the stunning Norfolk Broads National Park. The estate is also home to the glorious Great Barn, a beautiful barn wedding venue, and boasts award-winning catering. The estate has its very own “kitchen gardens” full of fresh fruit and vegetables for their menus. This lovely venue is perfect for larger and more intimate celebrations, being able to accommodate 300+ guests and offering residences for 25+ guests.

2) Longleat House
Longleat House, a Grade I Elizabethan mansion on the border of Somerset and Wiltshire, is one of the most luxurious country wedding venues, and indeed one of the most well-known. With its 900 acre estate, complete with landscaped parklands and a famous safari park, it’s one of the most breathtaking backdrops to your big day and offers a selection of settings from the Elizabethan Grand Hall (with a capacity of up to 150 people) and the Green Library (space for up to 50 people) to the beautiful Orangery (which can accommodate up to 130 people).

3) Cressbrook Hall
Cressbrook Hall in Buxton, Derbyshire, enjoys the breathtaking backdrop of the beautiful Peak District. Set in 23 acres of woodland in Derbyshire’s Wye Valley, it’s just 5 miles from the charming village of Bakewell and, as well as offering a splendid backdrop to your wedding day, this gorgeous venue also offers on-site accommodation for more than 50 guests.

4) Swynford Manor
Swynford Manor in Cambridgeshire is a luxury, historic, exclusive use country house wedding venue that dates back to the 1700s, with ties to Lord Byron. Its grounds are full of beautiful lawns and trees, an ideal setting for a romantic outdoor ceremony under their pergola, and inside are a few lovely function rooms to choose from, including the Study (which has space for up to 100 guests), and the Garden Room (which can accommodate up to 150 guests). Salomon’s Estate is a picturesque wedding venue in the heart of Kent (on the edge of The High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), a very elegant Grade II Listed Victorian mansion set in 36 acres of grounds that include gardens, woods, parkland, and even a lake. Choose between three lovely function rooms for your event, each one coming with stunning views of the estate—the Gold Room (which can seat up to 65 people for the ceremony), the Drawing Room (which can seat up to 100 people for your ceremony), and the Victorian Theatre (ideal for larger celebrations of up to 230 people).

Mulberry House in High Ongar, Essex, is a beautiful, family-run boutique hotel and wedding venue that offers “a combination of traditional Georgian architecture with modern 21st-century additions” and is set in 22 acres of grounds (complete with a lake).
