Islington Assembly Hall is an exclusive-use wedding venue in the heart of Islington, North London. We are proud to offer one lucky couple their wedding reception venue hire as part of Confetti’s 2017 Win Your Dream Wedding competition.
The prize includes access to our hall from 2pm-midnight on a day of your choice between June and September 2018 (as far as other venue commitments can allow) with the venue’s chairs and tables arranged to the couple’s specifications.
A dedicated venue event coordinator will be on hand every step of the way to help create a reception that’s unique to you in this stunning grade II listed hall.
Islington Assembly Hall is well known for live music shows and to make sure the winning couple gets the most out of their big day in this exclusive venue, having a live band is highly encouraged. As part of the prize, experienced staff will sound check and create a fantastic light show for your first dance and the celebrations!
The hall holds up to 176 guests for a wedding breakfast with the option for more guests to come and help you celebrate through the evening when the dancing begins! The original sprung dancefloor certainly helps with the celebrations while the beautiful art-deco features and magnificent stage provide a stunning backdrop to the big day.
Islington Assembly Hall will tailor-make a drinks package for the newlyweds, at a discounted rate to include glassware and bar staff to serve guests. The prize winner will have the flexibility to bring in caterers, decorations and other special touches of their choice, with the venue happy to put you in touch with local suppliers.
Islington Assembly Hall’s “Win Your Dream Wedding” prize donation includes:
- The tables and chairs that are required will be in the hall, ready for you to lay out
- Hire of the hall from 2pm-midnight
- Use of the kitchen
- Door staff by the entrance/exit
- Use of our stage plus sound and light engineers to work with your choice of band/DJ
- Our bar staffed and stocked with option of our house drinks package and/or cash bar
- Two tickets to a concert of your choice in the venue during the first year of marriage
